One of the much-awaited cricket T20 tournaments for cricket fans, Emirates D20 tournament has already started.
The tournament is being hosted by Emirates Cricket Board in partnership with Dream 11. This domestic tournament is powered by Sky247.net, a sports news web portal.
Teams Competing in Emirates D20 Tournament
In this tournament, the same six cricket teams of the UAE that competed in Emirates D10 tournament will compete. They are:
- ECB Blues
- Fujairah Pacific Ventures
- Sharjah Bukhatir XI
- Ajman Alubond
- Dubai Pulse Secure
- Team Abu Dhabi
The tournament starts with the group stage where each team compete against all others twice which is called a double round-robin format. After the group stage, the four top teams will enter semi-final matches of knock-out stages. The winners of the semi-final matches will then compete against each other in a final match to declare the winner of the tournament.
The venue of the tournament is Dubai International Cricket Stadium located in Dubai of the UAE.
